Get yourself ready for the return of MTV’s Newlyweds — with a twist! Instead of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, it’s Simpson version 2.0 is coming your way, with Jessica’s little sister, Ashlee Simpson, 23, and fiancé, Pete Wentz, 28, set to appear as the couple in the hit MTV format — at least if Joe Simpson gets his way!

Never one to miss a money-making opportunity, Ashlee’s dad and manager Joe seems determined to turn this idea into a reality. “He knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect,” a source close to the singer tells OK!.

With a wedding on the horizon, a baby on the way and a famous rocker fiancé, Ashlee’s life has all the ingredients for a reality show. (Ashlee and Pete’s publicist tells OK! they are not set to appear in Newlyweds.) If the program comes off, let’s hope the Bittersweet World singer’s love story doesn’t end the same way as her sister’s failed marriage.

Fox News reports that Lindz has in fact dropped a song for the new disc with his Snoopness, and "insiders" say it sounds "amazing." Timbaland and Pharrell are also helping to produce tracks for the album, which is apparently going to be released on Motown Records, because Lohan definitely fits the race bill there.

I'll be totally honest, I own and listen to her first album. Timbaland is practically King Midas right now, so I can't see this one failing...can't wait until it leaks!

Angeline & Brad Move to France for Baby Delivery

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and all four kids are holed up in Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen’s Villa Maryland in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera.

The family arrived early Monday night via private jet at Nice airport with two nannies and three security guards says an onlooker.

As E! News first reported last month, Angelina is due this summer and plans on having her baby in France.

“It’s a breathtaking villa with views out over the Mediterranean [Sea] and they have roughly 12 staff on hand at all times to get them anything they need,” says a source.

“They’ve stayed there before and love the house, it’s very private and no one can see in.

The insider says that Jolie, who has two films opening at next month’s Cannes film fest, will kick back while Pitt goes house-hunting.

“They love France and will now be here until after the babies are born and Angie is looking at Marseille hospitals as a potential place to give birth.”

Just what the world needs, another beautiful, globe-trotting baby from Angie and Brad.

On Access Hollywood About Her Brother's Death:

Any fan of the show knows that Heidi's retreat from the Hollywood Hills is going back to Colorado to her family. A month ago, Heidi's brother died in a freak accident after returning from the war. She finally opens up about what her family has been going through. I couldn't imagine being in her shoes.

On May 12th:

"London will be much smaller," a New Line spokesman said. "The whole cast isn't even going."

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all will make the trip, but other big names, including Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth, and Jennifer Hudson, will not.

"It was simply a question of logistics and scheduling. We're still planning the big premiere to be in New York," he said.

"Everyone knows New York City is the fifth character," the spokesman added. "The city is the epicenter of all things 'Sex and the City.' "

He revealed exclusively to the Daily News that the New York premiere will be May 27 at Radio City Music Hall, followed by a star-studded party at the Museum of Modern Art that will benefit Caroline Kennedy's The Fund for Public Schools.

Not fair! I know that there are a ton of twenty-somethings stomping around their rooms right now. If anything they should have done this 'advanced premiere' in Paris because of the last episode. Oh well, I will be there like the rest of the world waiting in line on opening night.

Based on sightings of the two holding hands — and photos of Carey wearing a big ring Saturday night during a New York afterparty for her new film, "Tennessee" — various media reports, including one that appeared on People.com Monday (April 28), suggest that she may be[engaged].

Britney was spotted, all smiles, after her vocal lesson then later, heading to Bally's. Spears seems to be getting it together to prove to the judge on May 6th that she can handle the responsibility of her sons. While getting her sons back will not be easy, she is moving in the right direction and people are taking notice. Although, she really needs to do something about that hair.

Bomb Threat During Concert in South Florida:

Last night's Bon Jovi concert at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, FL was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Several bomb-sniffing dogs were sent in after police received a phone call threatening to blow up the arena with two bombs. After determining the threat was a hoax, fans were let back in at 9:30 for the show.

I had no idea that people in south Florida really hated the snow birds that much.

For Running Over a Paparazzo’s Foot:

With Paris sitting in the passenger seat and a large number of photogs around the car, Benji Madden ran over the foot of paparazzo Glen Gurniak.

“There were too many people that side of the car so he swung the wheels in my direction on the other side of the car and got my foot trapped under the wheel. I yelled at him: ‘Dude, you’ve pinched my foot under the wheel, don’t drive, don’t drive,’” Gurniak said. “He turned and looked at me out of the window and then just drove. I fell to the floor as the car stopped and was just laying on the floor as everyone was screaming at him that he’d run me over.”

If my foot was 'trapped' under the wheel of someone's car, the first thing I would ask them to do is to drive off of it. (Oddly enough that's happened to me before...another story for another time...) This guy probably deserved it. Way to go, Benji! Take 'em out one at a time.

On Tuesday's episode of The Tyra Banks Show, he says that he is "100%" sure there was a rumored sex tape starring Conrad.

"I know for 100% fact it did exist – 1000%!" he declares.

Banks asks if Pratt had actually seen it.

"I would never watch that!" Pratt says. "I would rather throw up... but I know for a fact, and I would take a lie detector test."

Heidi Montag — who appeared alongside Pratt on the show — also claims the tape was "not a rumor. From what I have heard from confirmed sources... her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it."

Banks then asks Montag, if she hadn't seen the tape, how could she be so sure it existed.

"Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore... but from what I've heard..."

Montag adds, "I am not really allowed to elaborate."

In April 2007, Conrad told Usmagazine.com, "There is no sex tape that exists."

Heidi! Shame on you! I can't believe that you are keeping this stupid rumor up. If Pratt know for "100%" that the tape exists then I am going to assume that he's seen it. Viewer Stabs Talkative Friend during ANTM:

According to police, the 42-year-old victim refused to pipe down, leading her crazy-ass friend to allegedly pull out a knife and stab her. Beauty really is pain!

When police arrived, they found the bloody victim lying on a couch amidst clumps of hair. The psycho suspect fled and is still at large.

Ha ha ha...I am not really sure what to say other than pose the question, who really is crazier...Tyra or her fans? Oh, and, where did the "clumps of hair" come from? Gross...

Colleges Aren't Accepting Brook Hogan:
Brook Hogan, 19, has been shopping around South Florida colleges but they don't want anything to do with her.



University of South Florida, University of Central Florida and Florida State University denied the Hogan Knows Best star access to the school because of the large camera crew that comes with her.

Hogan, 19, an aspiring singer, visited FAU on Tuesday and Wednesday. She had lunch with Student Government President Tony Teixeira, chatted up sorority and fraternity members, and rode around on two golf carts rented by the show."The university would not agree to an arrangement that would be disruptive to the academic setting," McGrath (the school spokesperson) said.

Florida Atlantic University has not decided if filming of the show would be permitted on campus if Hogan applied and was accepted.

Ugh, seriously? The only people who would really care about them filming this show on campus are the students that might sit behind her in class and get on camera. Although, it would cause a huge annoyance for the kids that are trying to learn. HA! Like that really happens!

To Someone Else In Court:
So Amy has been acting weird again. Surprised? I do feel some what bad for her on this one though...

Amy's hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil had a court hearing for his assault charges and Amy was not present. Blake was caught mouthing words to a mysterious blond in the courtroom.

He mouthed, "You all right, babe?" and "I love you" to Sophie Schandorff. Fielder-Civil even made a beckoning gesture suggesting she visit him in prison.

Schandorff, 21, also gestured and mouthed back, "I love you, I love you", but was warned to stop by the court clerk.

She later told reporters that Fielder-Civil was a close friend and that the pair had known one another for sometime.

I'm sorry, Amy. I know your life is rough, being named to the U.K.'s Millionaire Music Rich List and winning all those Grammy's. It's hard being psycho, doing drugs and freaking people out.

I do have some sympathy for her in this specific situation. It sucks to have a hubby in jail not to mention that he is telling a 'friend' that he 'loves' her. Either way, intervention anyone?

Alicia Keys Cancels Two Upcoming Shows:
Alicia's label announced that the singer, 27, would be cancelling two upcoming shows on her new North American Tour. The third stop, Pittsburgh, and the fourth stop, Cleveland were cancelled due to "swollen vocal cords."



J Records has said that the tour will continue in Columbus and Cleveland tickets will be honored.

Is somone poisoning these girls? Jordin Sparks, the opening act, has had to cancel shows as well due to throat problems.

Mariah Carey performed this morning on Good Morning America. Her backing track vocals began...but Mimi didn't! Then towards the end of Touch My Body the song kept skipping!



Sorry, Mimi, but just because Ashlee did it first doesn't mean it's a good idea! We expect more from someone with so many #1 singles. Be the diva everyone knows you are and instill some fear into your underqualified engineers.

So the rumors have been flying about the youngest of the Simpson clan being 'with child'. She keeps avoiding all questions but we all have our own assumptions. I am going to apply some logic to the situation for a few moments.

I am going out on a limb here, but let's be honest. If you were young, beautiful, in shape and about to have a baby(?) wouldn't you want to show off your pre-baby body to the world? I sure would. And I have a feeling that Ashlee would do the same.

LC Wins "Celebrity Designer of the Year":
So I am a huge Hills fan. Yes, I know...but it's the truth. You will rarely hear me bad mouth any of the girls from the show...but seriously, why did Conrad win this award?



Us Weekly named Conrad the "Celebrity Designer of the Year" as part of a special section in the mag. I know her clothing was better than Heidi Montag's Heidiwood line, but I doubt it was worthy of an award.

Can we give a shout out to Sarah Jessica Parker's Biten line? Or how about Victoria Beckham's London Crown Jeans for Rock & Republic? I know they didn't sell all that well, but I'll be honest, I have a pair and wow, they're awesome. I wish someone would let me design a pair of jeans, they'd be cool and you would want them.

Rihanna and Maroon 5 Collaborate on a Re-Release:
Rihanna and Maroon 5 met up Wednesday to film the video for a re-released song on both artists' albums. Here's the original...



Rihanna's re-release of Good Girl Gone Bad will be dropping on June 17. "This is the only collaboration on my re-release, because I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They're one of my favorite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was so honored."


Levine says, "We wanted to try something different, so we had her come in and do bits and pieces. If the magic is there, if the chemistry if there, you don't even have to think about it."

From what I hear, the video will be ultra-glam, super stylish and based on 70's and 80's photography. I'm a huge Rihanna fan, so I am always excited when she comes out with new stuff. I am really looking forward to this one!

Third Times a Charm for Carmen?:
Reps are confirming that over the weekend Carmen Electra got engaged to Korn rocker Rob Patterson while in Vegas for her birthday. This will be Electra's third wedding.

Jimmy Fallon to Replace Conan on 'Late Night':
Fox News says that Fallon will be replacing Conan on Late Night, Conan will be replacing Leno and Leno will be replacing Nightline on ABC which will push Jimmy Kimmel even later. NBC won't be making the official announcement until mid-May.



I'm so confused! I thought Leno was retiring? Doesn't that mean you stop working? And I have a feeling that Fallon won't be all that good. He has fallen off the radar a little after SNL and has done nothing but a few mediocre movies.
